Church as first built by James Pierce for religious services without specifying what religion. After fifteen years he chose to sell the property and the church since no active established religion had happened. The Presbyterian denomination with a healthy donation from one individual bought the church and it was incorporated a a Presbyterian church. Pastor coverage has been sketchy over the years and often covered by the pastor from Felton. These two church separated in 1948 and the Ben Lomond church managed to secure mostly full time coverage by different people up to today.
