Down Memory Lane: The Church They Didn't Burn

Author starts article by noting that it was not unusual for churches to burn down under suspicious circumstances but the Wee Kirk of Ben Lomond is still standing. It was built in 1878 by James Pierce as a “community church” but later purchased by the Presbyterians. It had challenges throughout the years of keeping a full house and often had to share pastors across multiple churches in the valley. However it still has services today and represents one of the oldest standing buildings in the Valley.
