Letter from E.W. Walker to Faye Ellis about his father Rev Walker

Edward describes his father’s early years in England and then New Zealand where he met Edward’s mother. Rev.Walker and the family moved to California for a better education for their three children. They lived in Palo Alto and Rev Walker invested heavily in Real Estate. he lost most of his life savings in a foreclosure and took up wok in Ben Lomond to support his family. Edward notes in his letter where he went to school and working for dickerson’s in the summer. he went to college at Stanford.
