Big horses, big men

Article describing the life of a teamster that had multiple horses and wagons to support the hauling needs of the San Lorenzo Valley. A job could be timber, vegetables, lime, or plowing fields and in the early 1900s there was a lot of work. Ted Toft and his father Nissan ran the business together until autos and trucks took over. There is a photo of the two of them with a team of horses.
