The Day of the Stagecoach

Wells Fargo was the main provider of transportation via coach in the early 1850s to the late 1860s. A $300 ticket could get yo from Missouri to California in 23 days. The coaches stopped every 10-15 miles to exchange horses and sometimes get food. Eighteen people rode on the coach , 9 inside and 9 on the top of the wagon
