A year later, storm's wreckage remains
Santa Cruz is still crippled one year later with the collapsed Soquel Bridge one of the most obvious signs. In addition, there are 75 roads that still need repair. A second article highlights the human toll of lost houses and property. City leaders say it will take 10 years to completely recover from the January 1982 event.
