The City and County have settled with the Love Creeksurvivors for a total of $500,000 to be divided evenly. While most say they which it was more, others say they did pretty well considering that if it had gone to court they might not have won at all. The money will go to 31 home owners, some of whose houses were worth $300,00. The residents are still hopeful for a settlement with the insurance companies.
