Essay on the Churches in the Santa Cruz Circles

The essay discusses the history of the three churches currently functioning today. these include Garfield Christian church, the Missionary Baptist Church and the Pentecostal church. The beginnings of each church reflect the changes in the population of the Westside neighborhoods across economic, socio demographic and ethnic lines. The early history of the Tabernacle centered in the middle during the early days of the area which set the tone for the integral role that churches that came afterward played in the Westside of Santa Cruz
