Leon Panetta is pushing a bill in the US Senate that would give a tax break to people who have had to vacate their homes due to a government order for an at risk situation versus actual damage. The House has already approved the tax credit in these situations. the Senate now needs to consider it. If passed, it would result in a 1,000,000 dollar credit to the victims of the Love Creek disaster.
