Storm cripples County

The biggest snow fall in a decade crippled areas of the San Lorenzo Valley. Over 7 to 8 hundred people were unable to get home and had to stay at their current location . Eighty employees were stranded at Lockheed and slept on desks and chairs. Sixty children were taken in by Scotts Valley residents after it was determined that their parents could not get home to them over the hill. Many schools are still closed but some of the major highways were beginning to open at the time of publication.
