Legal dispute about permission of a property owner to carry out timber harvesting of old redwoods on his land. The County did not do the proper notice to the public required and that is now having to be completed before permission can be obtained. Some groups would like it permanently blocked and the land sold to the state. However, state officials have not expressed an interest in purchasing the land.
