Beam house restoring starts

History of the Moses-Krenlein House on Glen Arbor Rd. The article is written at the ground breaking of renovation work that will convert the delipidated building into senior house for 12 residents. It was finally approved after a dispute with local neighborhoods over the original plan which was then revised. the house has a long history of disputes between neighbors and Glen Arbor used to be called Squabble Rd because of the problems. it was built in 1853 and used to be a berry farm with produce sold in Oakland. it was scheduled for demolition and a practice burn by the Scotts Valley Fire Department before it was saved by concerned local residents.
