Fiesta is a time to reflect on the adobe's history
History of the Mission Adobe in Santa Cruz which is now a State park and has active restoration and preservation work supporting its survival. Only 7 or the original 17 rooms still exist and it is one of the oldest Mission complexes in California. It was built between 1822 and 1824 and provided housing for the Indigenous peoples living on the site. The annual Adobe Fiesta is a celebration of the history of the site.
