Death of Leslie Rittenhouse, member of one of Santa Cruz’s pioneer families and lifetime resident of Santa Cruz. He graduated from Santa Cruz High in 1930 and fought in World War II with the Seebee’s. When he returned he moved to Modesto and was a grape farmer. He returned to Santa Cruz in 1972. he was a member of the Golden Suns of the West, the IOOF, the Elks Club and the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars.
