The second Annual Steelhead Trout Festival and BananaSlug race was help at a recent event. There was also music and dancing, special presentations from conservation groups and poetry readings from local poets. First, second and third prize awards were given for the winners of the race as well as prizes for ugliest, fattest, and biggest banana slug.
