Fr. Kennedy will be leaving his post to assume the role of rector at St. Jude’s Parish in Cupertino. Fr. Kennedy is credited for developing St. Andrew’s from a mission of the diocese to a parish in its own right since he has been there. he has also expanded ministry services by the parishioners and he played a large rol in the response to the floods of 1982 and subsequent opening of the Valley Resource Center for local citizens. he was also a civic leader holding the role of President in two Rotary organizations.
