Ride against hunger

The caption describes Australian Paul McManus' "Freedom from World Hunger" ride, in which he rides around the world in the fight against world hunger. By the time he reached Santa Cruz, McManus had covered 23,000 miles on his 10-speed bicycle and on his way to Los Angeles.
