Details the history of the governance of the property donated to become the Ben Lomond Library and Park. Many years and many organizations later it is now under the jurisdiction of the Recreation District. The Fire Department retains the use of the famed pond for fire protection, the park is established with play equipment and barbecues and the library is open for business as a general meeting hall and for the purposes of a general library.
