A Look into the Valley's Past- Swanton Cottage
Image of the cottage owned by Fred Swanton as a summer home. It was located in Brookdale and was used in movies. Swanton created the first electric plant and electric street cars in Santa Cruz. he also created what was to become the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. He was mayor for several terms and he also built the Case Del Rey resort.
