Coffee's Corn Climbs to Clouds
Article talks about Lawrence Coffee and his love of growing vegetables, especially corn. he usually gives his produce away but will sell it if someone asks. He has lived at “Coffee’s Corner” which is a 90 degree curve near Glen Arbor since 1910. he remembers when the land around his house was open pasture and covered with orchards bearing apples, and vineyards growing grapes used for excellent wine. He also tells a story of a time he pulled up a sapling in front of his father who made him replant it and ensure that it would grow to a full tree.
