Friends and family paid tribute to Mrs. F. Hughes on her 80th birthday. she is one of the oldest pioneers of the San Lorenzo Valley. She arrived as a 17 year old bride from the East and she remembers that the trees were so tall and thick that you could only look up to see anything as the trail was so narrow.
