Joaquin Murrieta's Buried Coin

Story goes that Joaquin Murrieta and Three Fingered Jack buried small sums of money throughout the coastal range and were to recover it when the amount had reached enough for each member of the band to have $20,000. It is rumored that Three Fingered Jack created a map of the buried treasure and if was left with a priest. The priest was supposed to find relatives of the bandits after their death and share the map. A old man living in the area is claiming to be one of those relatives and is looking for the gold. Mrs. Joaquin Murrietta believes that her husband took the information to his grave.
