Les Grizzel remembers that Harry Love lived in a house near “The Falls” where there is still a cabin and an outhouse. he remembers Mrs Derby took his Boy Scout troop on a tour of the property and talked about the history. Property was last owned by Fred Mathias. les Grizzel notes that since Mary Bennett was Catholic she never divorced Harry Love although they lived apart. She began to fear him and hired local boys to protect her. One of those guards shot Harry Love in a gunfight which led to Love’s death.
