$200,000 in flames for Brookdale Lodge

A fire broke out early in the morning most probably in the kitchen and destroyed the famous Brookdale Restaurant and Lodge. The Wedding Chapel, the gift shop and a few other buildings were saved. The owner, Barney Morrow vows he will rebuild, starting with the restaurant. He and his partners have invested several hundred thousand dollars since they have owned the place over the last five years. Insurance will partially pay for the damage. No one was killed, however, Mr. Morrow suffered some injuries trying to put out the fire. by the tie the firemen had hooked up their hoses the fire was through the roof and the building could not be saved.
