He lives on Coffee Corner which is famous for its 90 degree turn that cars miss and plow into his barn. He remembers that people form Santa Cruz would hire a horserider to warn people that a car was coming up the road so they wouldn't be hit. He also remembers when there were no trees left on his family property but now it is covered with towering trees. He gives away a lot of his vegetables but also runs a produce stand.
