The Swanton Mansion
The original home of Albion Swanton built in 1889 has been restored to its former glory by Barbara Parrish in collaboration with leading craftsman in the area. The property of the main house and two adjacent buildings creates a complex that can be used for commercial property or private home. Albion Swant and his son Fred were leading members of Santa Cruz society and business in the late 1800s and early 1900s. They created several business ventures including a power company, Bonner Stables and the Swanton Hotel.
