The scandel that shook Ben Lomond

C.P. Davis was viewed with respect during his time in Ben Lomond. he started a newspaper, the Ben Lomond News. he also opened a mercantile store where the Ben Lomond super is currently, and started a real estate firm and a savings bank. he was recognized on a train by someone who knew of his past in another state and who eventually reported him to local authorities and to his wife. C.P. Davis disappeared for some time but when he returned he was confronted by the D.A. While he was being interviewed by the D.A. He escaped and was never found.
