Notes on Highlands and Anderson family from “Alice’s (Wilders) notebook”

Includes various deeds and estate transfers. Notice of divorce between the Andersons in 1902 in the Sentinel. House is remembered as being called the “Haunted House” and it had a summer bridge nearby that you could take to the old lumber mill. Stewart family is connected to the Anderson’s by virtue of the role of governess for the children. Martha Beden Taylor’s father was a caretaker of the roperty. David Christian Burg owned Highlands from 1920 to 1938 after buying from Lord Anderson.
