Highlands memories

Marion states that she and her family camped there and slept on the floor of the pump house in 1915-1917. There was a caretaker minding the house at that time. She notes one of the rooms was decorated with thistles and one was decorated with 4 leaf clovers. There was a race track down by the river and an octagon room with all glass windows. It was a card room. Their water came from across the road on the hill. they never went to the third floor because of stories that it was haunted. She states that the house was already deterioating by then.
