Notice of death of Viola Guichard who came to Santa Cruz in 1895 with her family when she was 7 tears old. Her father Leopold and his brother had 40 acres on Alba road where they grew fruit and vegetables. The familz created the Alba School of which Ms Guichard graduated. She lived in Ben Lomond and Santa Cruy with her sister Carmen in a Victorian on Mission Street. Viola Guichard played violin in the Ben Lomond orchestra until World War I.
