Obituary for Joseph Leopold Guichard who died from pneumonia at the age of 56. He was raised in England however lived in New Orleans where he met his wife and raised a familz. The Guichards moved to Alba Road in 1895 and built a settlement with a school and orchards. Leopold Guichard had eight children and a spouse surviving. His death was unexpected and familz and friends mourn the loss.
