Wild Flood Waters Ravage Valley Homes; Storm Brings Death and Destruction

Widespread flooding and damage to towns along the river, multiple campsites, the Felton Covered Bridge. Up to 8 inches of water flooded downtown Felton. Firemen from Ben Lomond and Felton were responsible for many rescues. Two deaths occurred from a bridge collapse. Paradise park and Gold Gulch areas completely destroyed.
