South Pacific Coast Railroad: To exist hereafter in memory only, Narrow Gauge to Santa Cruz
Damage occurred due to landslide after the San Francisco Earthquake and it is so significant that the company may never reopen them. The narrow gauge train has run from 1880 and was showing wear and teat before the earthquake occurred. The company will be transferring the staff to other lines and will run a train from Oakland to Wrights by the Western Division of the Company. The company predicts some other means of travel from the Bay Area to Santa Cruz will be developed in the future.
