Summary of Life of Jason Brown
Description of Jason Brown’s life in Ben Lomond. He came to Ben Lomond as a widower and lived here for many years. He always carried a long walking stick and had a dog named Shep. He had two sisters who lived in Saratoga en he used to walk to their house to visit. He was known to be a pacifist and an abolitionist all his life altho he did not agree with his father’s actions at Harper’s Ferry. In his later years he dreamed of inventing a flying machine and would spend hours lying on his back on a ledge and watching how birds flew.
