Article discusses the life of Dr. Camp who was a practicing physician in Chicago and he and his wife built and ran the Oklahoma City Hospital. When he retired and moved to California the two were taken with the beauty of Brookdale and wanted to build a hotel with a creek that ran though it. He and his wife built Brookdale Lodge which became famous in the 20’s and 30’s. The couple hope to retire again and travel to Canada and San Jose Costa Rica.
