Responses to suggestions by Fay Ellis to use detours during bridge construction to prevent widening the broad and the bridge to allow cars to continue using the bridge. Mr. Lämmer notes that some trees will need to be removed along the road to allow this to occur. He also stated that the department did not find a satisfactory solution for a detour that Would not negatively impact other residents and adequately carry current traffic load.
