The Widow Bennett Pioneered Lib

Mary cross by way of the Oregon Trail with her eight children. Her husband abandoned her in San Francisco and they separated. She settled in Santa Clara and befriended the Indigenous people there prompting the Mexican government to give her two tracts of land. She married Harry Love later and it was a tumultous marriage ending in a gunfight and death of Harry Love and Mary later.
