Hero Turns Vicious, Shoots Wife, Guard

Harry was known as the hero that tracked down a notorious bandit near San Juan Bautista. Mary was known as "the strong woman of Santa Clara", She was known to be kind and helpful to the local Indigenous population and for that the Mexican government gave her a large plot of land about 350 acres in Santa Clara. This property is near the current Santa Clara Mission at Homestead Rd. and Gould St.
