BL firefighters

The camp contributed 2000 man-hours fighting fires that plagued Southern California. In total for the season the camp has worked 16,868 hours fighting fires. many wards suffered poison oak and mosquito bites but no serious injuries were reported. The CYA wards receive 75 cents per hour for travel time and time fighting fires.
