Twice the county has stopped trucks from using Love Creek Road over the slide area but the county is no longer regulating the business now. Logging is resuming in an 120 acre harvest. The loggin company plans on improving the private portion of Love Creek Road to help stabilize it. The state is now in charge of logging permits and the ten year limit after the last logging has passed so a permit was approved to begin logging in the area.
