Carl Connelly will be honored
Local community leader to be honored for his work on creating Cabrillo College with the new football stadium named in his honor. Connelly also was instrumental in establishing the county’s first health department and assisting Dust Bowl refugees who were camped along the Pajaro River to find housing, lighting, and medical services. He was also instrumental in founding UCSC and several San Lorenzo Valley schools to help many students gain an education.
