1984 was a year of sewer controversy in the Valley

Review of the big stories in 1985 in the Valley. Includes sewer battles, water rights issues, school concerns over falling and rising enrollment and lack of facilities. Several murders occurred in the San Lorenzo Valley area and were brought to trial. Continued conflict with logging and environmental concerns as well as the issues regarding spraying for the Gypsy moth invasion in the area.
