Former journalist Katharine Ball describes experiencing the earthquake while driving on Browns Valley Road in Corralitos. She talks about her subsequent work to cover the earthquake and its aftermath for the Watsonville Register Pajaronian, and the way that experience changed her life and her approach to journalism.
