Director Wally Fox and his production unit of FBO Studios in Hollywood, late yesterday completed a week of location work in the country around about Santa Cruz. Last evening the entire unit, composed of about 30 people, checked out of the St. George, enroute back to southern California.

Various locations were filmed, principally around the redwoods. The movie makers worked in the Big Basin at Glenwood station and other points, securing extremely beautiful and impressive settings. Virgil Miller, chief cameraman, left here most enthusiastic over the camera angles he was enabled to work in these settings.

"The Amazing Vagabond," which features FBO's virile young star, Bob Steele, bids fair to set a standard for excellence of scenic exteriors.

Tom Lingham, a prominent member of the cast appearing with young Steele, has been a happy individual during the week because of his return to "God's country," as he puts it. "Ever since I was here with Tom Mix about five years ago," said Lingham last night, "I have wanted to return to this wonderland."
