Film Company Due To Arrive

Santa Cruz still figures as a favorite place for the Fox Film Co. to secure special outdoor backgrounds for big screen productions. R. E. "Duke" Goux, agent and business manager for the advance guard of film stars that are to follow, is on the job already, and is doing location work and will have all detail work ready when the company of thirty people arrive in this city today.

Screen favorites due to remain with the company here during its stay of five days includes Madge Bellamy, known as one of the most popular stars of the screen.

The acting director for the company is none other than Jim Tingling, a young director who is rapidly coming to the front. Other screen favorites that will be here before the week is out include Mary Duncan, John Mack Brown and Johnny Dugan.

Manager Goux has been in Santa Cruz on other occasions and on his last visit here in 1925 he was manager of the Schertzinger group which filmed "Thunder Mountain." It was in this play that Madge Bellamy assumed a leading role."
