The Movie Company

Andrew P. Hill in the San Jose Mercury writes in reference to the movie company in the Big Basin as follows:

The Thomas H. Ince Company of movie pictures arrived here 12 strong. Among them is an old San Jose boy, Milton Ross, brother of ex-Sheriff Ross of San Jose. This company is getting together the material for a western picture set in the heart of the redwoods. The picture will feature Miss Dorothy Dalton and will probably surpass her wonderful work in the "Flame of the Yukon." Miss Dalton and Mr. Neill, the director of the picture, were overcome by the grandeur of the redwoods in the Big Basin and are delighted to feel that they are the first to make an artcraft release in these surroundings.

This work will advertise the park in many countries and help to bring thousands of tourists to see the giant redwoods and its marvelous surroundings."
