Let's Keep Our Head!
[Editorial]

In the Pajaro valley are hundreds of Japanese - both American citizens and Japanese nationals. In the past, there has been every indication that these Japanese are loyal to the United States.

Let us remember this in our sudden anger and fury at the Japanese nation for its sudden "undeclared war" attack on Pearl harbor and Manila.

We urge no show of feeling against these residents of the Pajaro valley who are just as stunned by the attack on this nation as we are.

There should be no unwarranted rumors circulated about these residents. If, however, you feel that you have really important news which the government should have, notify the police department or the FBI at San Francisco.

AND ABOVE ALL LET'S KEEP OUR HEAD IN THIS CRISIS WHICH STRIKES CLOSER TO HOME THAN MANY MAY REALIZE. DON'T GO OFF "HALF-COCKED" AND COOPERATE IN EVERY WAY WITH THE AUTHORITIES WHO HAVE BEEN PREPARING FOR SUCH AN EMERGENCY FOR MONTHS."
