CERATONIA SILIQUA (St. John's Bread)
667 Soquel Avenue
"Mrs. Guyton Place"
"'Friedrich Ruhe' is the name that belonged to the Frederick Hageman Estate which has many fine trees still standing so close that it is difficult to photograph them. Many of the trees were brought from Germany. Near the top of one of the palms is the home of a dear little owl which has been there sixteen years. Mr. and Mrs. Omer Guyton, who have owned the property for seventeen years, call him their pet."
