Santa Cruz Sentinel (September 23, 1930)

DIED: WILLIAMS - In Santa Cruz September 21, 1930, Samuel, beloved husband of Elizabeth M. Williams, loving father of W.R. Dixon, E.B. and Glen Williams of San Jose.

Funeral services will be held at San Jose Wednesday, September 24, at 1 p.m. from Hocking and Williams, under auspices Sheridan Dix post, G.A.R.

Friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Old Soldier Dies on Sunday

Samuel Williams, husband of Elizabeth Williams, died on Sunday in this city. He was the father of Mrs. W.R. Dixon, E.B. Williams and Glen Williams of San Jose.

Funeral services are to be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock at the chapel of Hocking and Williams.

Mr. Williams was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of Sheridan Dix Post, G.A.R. of San Jose.
