Cornelius F. Ross, a resident of Santa Cruz for many years and who for the past year has been at the Odd Fellows home at Saratoga, passed away yesterday. The deceased was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of Branciforte lodge of I. O. O. F. and also a member of the G.A.R.

Three daughters, Mrs. W.W. Matthias of this city, Mrs. George Ely of San Jose, and Mrs. Longley, survive him.
